Intensive training co-hosted with the Arkansas Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Contractors Association (ADBECA) for all business owners interested in performing highway-related work in Arkansas. To access contracts available through the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD), business owners MUST obtain their Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) certification. Examples of eligible businesses include those involved in the following type of construction or industries: asphalt, bridges, cement, construction, demolition, electric, erosion, earthwork, excavators, fencing, guardrail, general contractors, hauling, landscape, roadwork, reinforcement, surveyors, traffic control, utilities, and others.
